 The Valley of Kashmir – offering fascinating beauty with Nature at its best and with lovely climate, high peaks and mountains, beautiful streams, springs, rivers and lakes, charming flowers and fruits in abundance – provide enormous opportunity for travel and leisure.

 The Tourist Services Division of the JKSRTC plays a lead role in providing safe and secure service to the tourists and the day-long sight-seeing tours in Kashmir Valley which are most popular among the travelers.

 Sight Seeing tour to the Mughal Gardens or the Royal Pleasure Gardens, situated on the banks of the Dal Lake at Srinagar, includes a visit to Cheshmashahi, Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden and Shankarachariya Temple built by Raja Gopidatya in 371 B.C. The Shankaracharya Temple offers a most fascinating and commanding view of the Dal Lake and Srinagar City.

 Regular day long tours are offered to GULMARG, PAHALGAM, and SONAMARG. Other options include Yousmarg, Verinag, Achabal, Kukernag, Lolab Valley and the Country’s biggest Lake known as the Wullar Lake.
